Available Summer Camps:
You can choose from 7 Poekie Nook Crafting Camps. In addition, we are collaborating with our neighbors for 3 additional camps:

Poekie Nook Camps:
• Poekie Nook summer crafting camps are Mon-Fri, 10am-3pm or 10am-4pm
• (Free drop-in after camp for members registered for the camp)
• Please bring a lunch. Lunch is 12:30-1:00pm daily.
House Building (Three weeks to choose from)
Build a home for your Poekies! We take two days to sew Poekies and an apron, and design your house. Then we start building with fabrics, cardboard, beads, trims and other treasures from our fabric room. While older kids build large houses, younger children (age 6-7) will make slighter smaller ones. Everyone loves this camp, so sign up now.

Tree House (Waitlisted)
Build a charming little house nestled in the branches of the beautiful tree you will create. Sew
gnomes and fairies who will live in the secret hideaways only you know about!
Age 8 and up or with prior Poekie crafting experience,

Endangered Species
Choose an animal that’s endangered and sew a (customized) Poekie of it. We’ll help you re- search, write and make a beautiful book about it, and then we’ll design and build a cozy habitat for your endangered Poekie; replicating their real-life home. Age 8 and up, you must be on “first shelf” level. Before camp starts, we’ll email a list of animals so you can choose your favorite to make in the camp!
Parents and kids alike love this camp. There’s a sense of camaraderie in the group as we learn about the plight of many different animals and what we can do to save them. We use only high quality materials in this class and create an experience which will have a lasting value.

Mushroom House
Build a sweet mushroom house and furnish it for your family of gnomes and fairies that you will sew!

Poekie JEEP
Build a Jeep1 Move over Barbie…the Poekies are coming to town in their new stylish jeep. Build
and decorate your jeep using fabrics, cardboard, trims and other treasures from our fabric room.
