Back by popular demand, we’re hosting 3 additional camps with our neighbors. 

Each camp is a week long, Monday – Friday, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Poekie gets a home

Your child will create their Poekie and their Poekie's own home in this week long camp.

Poekie gets a career

You child will create their Poekie and explore their Poekie's career with outfits and a work location!

Endangered Species

Your child will research a species and create a custom Poekie in their natural habitat.

Mushroom House

Your child will build their own mushroom house and fill it with hand sewn gnomes or fairies.

Build a home for your Poekies! We take two days to sew Poekies and an apron, and design your house. Then we start building with fabrics, cardboard, beads, trims and other treasures from our fabric room.  While older kids build large houses, younger children (age 6-7) will make slighter smaller ones.  Everyone loves this camp, so sign up now.

Sew a Poekie and create a career for it.  You will build your own scene, creating their work place and sew an outfit typically worn.  Use your imagination to create their own little world.  In the photo, we see Simon (a quail), an Artist in his studio.

July 28 – August 1, Monday – Friday

Choose an animal that’s endangered and sew a (customized) Poekie of it. We’ll help you re- search, write and make a beautiful book about it, and then we’ll design and build a cozy habitat for your endangered Poekie; replicating their real-life home.

Age 8 and up, you must be on “first shelf” level and know the back-stitch. Before camp starts, we’ll email a list of animals so you can choose your favorite to make in the camp!

Parents and kids alike love this camp. There’s a sense of camaraderie in the group as we learn about the plight of many different animals and what we can do to save them. We use only high quality materials in this class and create an experience which will have a lasting value.
